July 20 is a memorable day not only for Americans but also for the rest of humanity, as it is on this day in 1969 when Americans astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin became the first people to land on the moon. This year’s celebration of Space Exploration Day 2020 comes at the heels of the successful launch of American astronauts through the SpaceX Demonstration Mission 2, which was the first crewed launch of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Commercial Crew program. It is also the first time in history that humans were sent into orbit by a commercial company and the first time in 9 years that humans have been sent out into space.
