Bridal Shower Guide: 10 Gifts the Bride-to-Be Will Actually Love

Gifts are often the trickiest part of any celebration. When it’s as big as a wedding, guests can often be stumped at what to give, especially when they know there are at least 30 people who might give the same exact gift. But how do exactly do you decide what to give a bride-to-be? We’ve curated some of the best gifts the bride-to-be will actually love, but before we dive into that list, we have some tips courtesy of The Knot, to make shopping so much easier for everyone.

Give what you can. It’s always the thought that counts. Comparison is the thief of joy and there is no point in comparing your gift to others’. If you’re open to spending a larger amount or are cutting costs, make sure to purchase a gift that is thoughtful and if possible, can be used in the long run. Keep in mind that anyone will love to receive meaningful gifts that they won’t want to toss out come Spring cleaning season next year (or worse, re-gift to someone else this Christmas).

Give a bridal shower gift separately. Again, when it comes to budgeting, you decide on how to go about this. You may want to give a simpler, more personalized gift for the bridal shower and go big for the wedding. It all depends on your relationship with the bride-to-be and how you feel about gifting.

Check out the registry. The registry is there to guide you on your gifting choices. Check out what’s on their wishlist and try to buy a present that is in line with their needs as a newly married couple. They’ll surely appreciate the effort!
