Calderone added that because people have spent the last two years indoors, people are “seeking to strengthen our connection with nature,” which results in home decore with “natural surfaces” such as “stoneware, terracotta, marble, and travertine.”
Similarly, Lindye Galloway of the Lindye Galloway Studio + Shop told Good Housekeeping, “An emphasis on natural elements and color palettes will continue to grow in 2022.” She referred to “warm beiges, browns, blues, and greens” as top color picks to offer a “calming presence” that’s “easy on the eyes.”
